Government Relations

Shaking HandsOur Aims

Our role is to bring the voice of the leisure marine sector to the attention of the highest levels of Government, both within the UK and the EU. By effectively highlighting the industry's role in generating investment, regeneration, tourism and export revenues, we are able to deliver the most favourable market conditions possible for our members.

Standing up for your business

In this unprecedented economic climate it has never been more important to have a strong voice in Parliament and across Whitehall Government Departments. Whether its organising an MP visit to a member's business, responding to a consultation or organising Parliamentary briefings, we're always making sure that those who need to know about our industry - do.  In addition to our significant in house experience we also equip ourselves with the resources to get the job done effectively, by retaining the leading public affairs agency, Mandate.

Member Focused

Despite all our knowledge and resources, the Government Relations team relies upon its members to guide all that it does. We literally bring MPs to your doorstep to listen to what you have to say and we use your views as the foundation for all consultation responses. Get involved today - see the links below to find out how...
